Castle Employment are working exclusively with the Blue Bell Inn, located in the stunning village of Weaverthorpe. We are on the lookout for a dynamic and seasoned Head Chef to lead the team. For the right candidate the client is offering a starting salary of up to £32,000 over a 5-day working week with contracted hours of 45. In this role you will also benefit from a share of tips as well as massive scope to grow.

•Inspiring Leadership: Lead and motivate our kitchen team, ensuring consistent delivery of outstanding food while upholding high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

•Collaborative Menu Development: Work closely with business owners to create and implement menus that embody the essence of Blue Bell Inn, exceeding the expectations of our discerning clientele.

•Driving Business Growth: Play a vital role in the overall success of the business by actively engaging in menu planning, cost control, and identifying opportunities for revenue growth.

•Nurturing Talent: Foster a positive and collaborative kitchen environment, providing guidance and training to enhance the skills of our team and contribute to their professional development.

•Ensuring Safety and Hygiene: Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, upholding the highest standards of hygiene in all operations.

Requirements:

•Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a similar fresh food establishment.

•Expertise in seasonal ingredients and the ability to craft innovative menus.

•Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

•Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

•A passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
