About the job Responsible for the Digital Sales channel (Off Premise + Mobile Order) across EMEA you will be accountable for building a channel that is profitable to Franchisees and delights our Guests. You will work with the Head of Digital Sales Channels to lead the development of the Digital Sales channel strategy and work closely with our business units to deliver this and drive their performance locally working with teams across Marketing, Operations and Analytics. Partnering closely with third party delivery partners you will establish new relationships and build joint business plans to maximise on the partnerships and hold regular QBRs to review performance. You will work with the Head of Digital Sales Channels to build a vision for the future of the Off Premises channels and ensure Subway is ready to maximise on the opportunity. Responsibilities will include · Execute the EMEA channel strategy for Digital Sales Channels looking at building the foundations in the short term and outlining the future strategy for the channels · Establish and manage partnerships with Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Just Eat Takeaway and Wolt across EMEA and establish relationships with new partners putting in place joint EMEA business plans · Work closely with EMEA Operations team to establish best-in-class operational procedures to support Digital Sales Channels in restaurant · Work closely with the business unit Marketing teams to ensure traffic driving activity for both Third Party Delivery & Mobile Order channels is incorporated into marketing plans · Focus on establishing best-in-class Menus for our Digital channels that maximise conversion and create a great Guest experience · Work with Analytics to put in place robust reporting across key commercial, operational and customer metrics to grow our understanding of Third Party Delivery & Mobile Order channels · Share best practice across the region for Menus, Marketing, Operations etc to drive efficiency and ensure business units can benefit from each other’s learnings · Scope the opportunity for new digital channels for incremental traffic & revenue - building the commercial case and working with Technology, Marketing & Operations to pilot and launch About you Maybe you’re already leading Off Premises for a QSR brand and looking for a new opportunity with a fast-moving company? Commercially minded and able to put yourself in the position of both a Franchisee and Guest you’ll be comfortable operating strategically to set the vision as well as ‘in the detail’ to work with cross functional stakeholders to get the job done. As an integral part of the Subway Digital Revolution, you’ll be comfortable being bold and challenging the status quo using your expertise on Off Premises to help build a better Subway. You’ll need to be naturally inquisitive, a self-starter, and have your finger on the pulse of new digital trends. When we meet, you’ll also be able to show us that you: · Are a digital expert having worked across either Off Premises or other digital channels · Have worked with cross-functional teams to deliver large scale projects with clear results · Are commercially savvy and focused on delivering core business KPIs · Can develop high performing partnerships with third parties · Have a collaborative approach that will engage the wider team and drive products and people forward for high output success · Have knowledge of the food retail / QSR sector · Are technology savvy and able to work closely with technology teams · Can understand business needs and make clear prioritisation decisions based on value · Can present your ideas clearly, simply and with confidence · Are comfortable using and understanding data to help make decisions and grow a channel · Have intellectual curiosity and the ability to find innovative solutions to customer problems · Can contribute to planning of digital strategies and help define our product culture · Have passion and accountability for delivering great outcomes for customers Knowledge and skills Essential · Minimum 5 years experience of leading digital products or propositions · Knowledge of the third-party delivery sector and partners · A strong influencer, with excellent relationship management skills · A background in managing projects in a fast-paced environment · Comfortable presenting trade-offs and decisions to senior stakeholders, building consensus around priorities and advocating the value of digital to the rest of the company · Knowledge and experience of the food retail / QSR sector · Strong track record of creating evidence-led customer journeys using customer insight and behavioural/analytics data (quantitative and qualitative) · A clear communicator, with commercial acumen and the ability to self-organise · Comfortable in uncertain environments and able to shape new ways of working and embed yourself within an organisation · A leader, with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to have open and honest conversations when needed Desirable · Knowledge of user-testing techniques, reviewing the findings from user testing sessions and recommending practical improvements · Experience of working in organisations transitioning from traditional ‘waterfall’ delivery techniques to a lean/agile iterative mindset · Experience working within a Franchisee model · Multi-market experience particularly across EMEA
