Job Description

Great opportunity for an ambitious Chef looking for a career in Food Development.

Here you’ll be joining a food business that supplies innovative products to customers worldwide. They work with leading food brands and retailers, providing them with industry-leading new concepts for their restaurant menus and supermarket shelves.

You’ll be supporting the Product Development team – developing new concepts that meet customer requirements. This will involve hands-on recipe development in the kitchen, creating great-tasting products. You’ll need to be adept in the kitchen, able to accurately follow and replicate recipes and be confident presenting dishes to the team and customers.

You’ll also support the team in pilot plant and factory trials, ensuring your concepts can be successfully scaled up in production.

This business has invested heavily into its Food Innovation team – you’ll be working in a fantastic new facility with impressive development kitchens, pilot plant and presentation suite. You’ll be working with a talented team of food professionals and have excellent training and support to develop your skills and career there.

To succeed in the role, you’ll need proven culinary skills with solid kitchen experience gained at CDP level. You’ll have a real passion for food, interest in ingredients and the latest food trends.

You’ll be working Mon-Fri days on site in the R&D centre. The role will involve some travel on occasion, so you’ll need a driving licence and transport. This is a permanent position that is not offering visa sponsorship.
