SALARY:  Opportunity to earn in excess of £50,000 (Base depends on experience, plus supplements)

Job Description

What You’ll be Doing as a Fire Commissioning Engineer

  • Commission and manage new and existing installations and modifications to existing systems in full compliance with the current edition of the relevant British Standards
  • Liaise with the sub-contractor to ensure that the correct installation practices have been used, as required
  • Attend coordination meetings with specific projects to ensure commissioning is performed within the contract time scales and agreed specification

Qualifications

What We Would Like You To Bring

  • A good understanding of the British standards – 5839 parts 1 to 9, 5266 and 7273
  • A methodical approach to problem solving
  • A can do attitude being self motivated to find solutions
  • Fire Detection & Alarm Systems experience, how to program and operate a wide range of analogue addressable control panels and the associated detection devices
