Line Cook (Cocinero) - Aspens Signature Steakhouse

Aspen’s Signature steaks is currently hiring experienced, skilled line cooks, entry cooks, and dishwashers. We are looking for an experienced, motivated, outgoing individuals who desire to be a part of a team that is passionate about quality and hospitality. This team member will be responsible for meat and fish fabrication, general prep, station set up, and cooking meals in a well-kept, sanitized work area.; a professional individual who has experience in the foodservice industry and is committed to impeccable food plating and presentation.

Dishwasher applicants can cross train for entry level line positions and growth in the company.

Responsibilities
  • Execute all prep assignments quickly, efficiently, safely and according to Aspen's standards and specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation including tables, shelves, walls, storage areas, cooking, and refrigeration equipment, adhering to proper sanitation standards.
  • Understand and consistently comply with our standards regarding portion size, cooking methods, and kitchen rules at all times.
  • Prepare dishes on our menu according to Aspen’s recipes.
  • Work as a team with other positions on the line to execute Guest orders as quickly and accurately as possible.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or KMOD
 
  • Qualifications
  • Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more a day.
  • Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience cooking multiple stations in a professional table service kitchen
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with Kitchen Team Members and Kitchen Managers
  • Obtain food safe certification if not already complete.
  • must have reliable transportation.
