$200,000 - $220,000 USD yearly
Picture a brand new, restaurant-grade kitchen in a private Las Vegas home, run with the precision and rhythm of a fine restaurant. A warm, food-loving family is looking for an Executive Chef to lead it. Their favorites are Italian, Mediterranean, and classic American cuisine, made with the very best ingredients, so they want a chef who takes real pride in sourcing. As Executive Chef, you will lead an established team of two chefs and oversee the full culinary operation of the household. The food is refined but never overly formal: flavorful, beautifully prepared dishes the family looks forward to every day. Above all, this family wants a long-term partner who will grow with them. They believe in investing in their chef and would love to send you to top restaurants around the world for two weeks at a time to refine your craft and bring new inspiration home.
Responsibilities:

- Oversee the household culinary operation with restaurant-level systems for prep, ordering, and service
- Source the finest seasonal ingredients and build strong relationships with specialty purveyors
- Prepare varied daily meals: weekday lunch for one, weekend lunch for two, and dinner for two Monday through Saturday
- Prepare a Sunday family meal for approximately 6 adults and 6 children, plus occasional holiday and special-event menus
- Create calorie-conscious dishes with little or no added fat when requested, without sacrificing flavor, texture, or presentation
- Learn and consistently follow the household list of ingredients and foods to avoid
- Develop original menus, recreate restaurant-inspired dishes, and follow family recipes and direction
- Own all kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory, pars, labeling, food rotation, and vendor relationships
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout the day
- Coordinate with household staff and travel with the family
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent high-level culinary training
- Background in Michelin-starred restaurants, celebrity households, or luxury hotels and private clubs strongly preferred
- Proven experience leading a kitchen team as an Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or Sous Chef
- Private household experience strongly preferred
- Strong command of Italian, Mediterranean, and classic American cuisine, with Mexican a plus
- Warm, discreet, flexible, and genuinely receptive to feedback and changing requests
- Exceptional organization and cleanliness standards
- Proven longevity in previous roles and a desire for a long-term placement
- Baking and dessert skills are a welcome bonus
Schedule:
Typically 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, five days per week. Flexibility is required for weekends, holidays, special events, household guests, and last-minute changes. Occasional travel, including approximately four days per month to Southern California during the summer.
Compensation:
$200,000 to $220,000 annually, plus an annual discretionary bonus. Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision), paid vacation, 401(k) with a 3% company match, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
