About the Role:

The Junior Sous Chef is an integral leader in the culinary team and reports to the Restaurant Executive Chef. This position requires dynamic leadership, a passion for developing talent, a focus on establishing and maintaining the highest standards of culinary excellence.

In addition to managing the day-to-day activities of the kitchen, the Junior Sous Chef plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of menu items, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.

What you will do:

  • Demonstrate solid leadership that motivates, inspires and is in line with our Four Seasons culture of The Golden Rule.

  • Lead culinary teams to ensure superior quality and consistency in preparation of all food items.

  • Collaborate closely with the culinary team to innovate and refine dishes, ensuring that guests' expectations are consistently exceeded.

  • Support creativity among culinary team members, and mentor the next generation of culinary talent.

What will you bring:

  • Culinary degree or qualified experience, Previous experience of 3-5 years in leadership role in luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with other areas and positively engage with colleagues and guests

  • Strong time management skills and able to lead a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Able to use technology as needed for the job

Schedule & Hours:

  • Full time (early mornings, days, evening, weekends, holidays and overnights)
