Responsibilities

As a Line Cook at I LOVE ORLANDO CAFE, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing and cooking food according to recipes and established procedures, maintaining portion control, and ensuring proper food handling and storage. You’ll also be responsible for keeping all kitchen and food-preparation areas clean, organized, and sanitized throughout your shift.

In this role, you’ll need to manage multiple orders efficiently, work under pressure, and communicate effectively with your teammates. You’ll contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment while consistently maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food quality.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a professional and reliable individual who meets the following qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant, café, or commercial kitchen setting.
• Proficiency in food preparation, cooking, and following recipes.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling.
• Valid Food Handler Certification is required.
• Punctual, clean, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• A genuine passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
