As a Executive Pastry Chef your compensation will be $130,000 to $133,000 per annum.

· You will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of the overall pastry culinary and service concept of the hotel, while overseeing and efficiently running the Pastry Kitchen. Ensures adherence to DC Core Standards and required Health and Food Safety standards. All to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
· You’ll also be responsible for the planning, organization, direction of the operations and supervision of staff. Interviews, hires and trains employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. hiring, employee training and development.

· Our Executive Pastry Chefs are in charge of the entire Pastry and Baked Goods: ordering, handling – kitchen receiving, storage, rotation, utilization, preparation and development of food related standards of procedures. You will be responsible for writing all food product purchasing specifications for dessert and bread programs. Full outlet menu development with product presentation specifications for all of our F&B outlets which also includes amenities, holiday items, promotional and staff event menus and room service.
