Parfait Paris, a family-owned French bakery with multiple locations across San Diego, and an award winning San Diego Best Bakery and Pastry Shop, is seeking a skilled Overnight Pastry Chef to join our commissary team.


This role is focused on the final assembly and finishing of our signature cakes and entremets, ensuring each product meets our high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Finish and assemble cakes and entremets (glazing, decorating, layering)
  • Execute precise pastry techniques with consistency and efficiency
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Follow recipes and production schedules accurately
  • Ensure all products meet Parfait Paris quality and visual standards
  • Work collaboratively with the pastry team


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in pastry or baking (professional kitchen preferred)
  • Experience with cake decorating, entremets, or French pastry is a strong plus
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of aesthetics
  • Ability to work overnight shifts and in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented


Job Type & Schedule

  • Overnight shifts 1am to 9:30am
  • Full Time 5 days a week
  • Fix and consistent schedule
  • Weekend and holidays availability required
