Our Cafe(Near Brandon) is looking for a dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook with a minimum of 1 year of experience in an Asian restaurant kitchen. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will support our culinary team in preparing and serving delicious dishes while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in our kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking tasks
- Assist baker in baking pastries and other bakery items
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies
- Follow proper food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
- Perform different responsibilities as assigned by management from time to time
Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an Asian restaurant kitchen
- Familiarity with Asian cooking techniques and ingredients preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Team-oriented with excellent communication abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects as needed
